About Me
I completed my post-graduate Advanced Diploma of Chiropody at The Michener Institute of Education at UHN in Toronto, Ontario. Before becoming a chiropodist, I graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, majoring in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science.
I have gained extensive clinical experience at Rexdale Community Health Centre, Newmarket Foot Centre, Toronto Grace Health Centre, TAIBU Community Health Centre, Michener Chiropody Clinic, East End Community Health Centre, and Flemingdon Health Centre. I have also volunteered for a couple of years in various departments within Lakeridge Health Hospital.
I consider myself to be very caring and personable. I strive to extend as much empathy and compassion as possible towards my patients and colleagues alike. I always ensure to follow best practices, and provide high quality individualized management plans for my patients. Outside of caring for patients, my self-care activities include baking, boxing, and making crafts.
